Truly unfortunate incident, clearly caused by recent calls from the Iraqi leadership to engage in suicide bombings and jihadi attacks.
The sad fact is that the more terrorist acts the iraqis engage in, the looser rules of engagement for our troops will be resulting in more civilian deaths.

Jose, I truly don’t understand why you (and the media) call the act of suicide-bombing ‘terrorism’ in the given context: the iraqis are defending their land against an invasion, they are in their own country, and they don’t have the technology/weapons the invading army has.
Why is a (meme-obsessed) iraqi soldier committing suicide for his nation and killing soldiers of the invading army tagged as a terrorist when a B-52 or apache pilot killing civilians in a market remains a liberator?
As a side note, the french resistance did exactly the same suicide-bombing against the nazis during WW2.

Ok, I can agree with you since it is in the context of “defending” their land against the evil empire, I’ll agree with you its not terrorism, obviously they were after a military target.
I guess my point was that the more the Iraqis engage in “unconventional” tactics the more damage they do to their own population. It is a very interesting way of looking after the best interest of their country- burn the village to save the village, er the regime.
