New Zealand Herald – Tyco mistrial bid fails despite juror’s hand signals: “Defence lawyers sought a mistrial after two news outlets – the New York Post and the Wall Street Journal’s website – identified one of the jurors who on Friday gave Kozlowski what the media reported as an ‘okay’ sign.”
Poor, poor defense lawyers. Their little mistrial attempt went awry. I wonder how much they’ll have to pay the next juror to flash a sign. Maybe next time it should be the middle finger right at the everyday Tyco shareholders who footed the bill for the multi-million-dollar shenanigans enjoyed by the company execs.
