Bush team: Al-Qaida threat looms before fall elections: “Bush administration officials warned Thursday of possible ‘large-scale’ Al-Qaida terrorist attacks before the November presidential election that are intended to influence the outcome.”
Translation: We’re tired of Kerry and Edwards stealing all the headlines and we want to scare the American people into re-electing Bush because that’s what we do — instill fear.

you said it… it would not surprise me if the bushco admin actually staged a terror incident (they have shown that they are perfectly willing to kill their own citizens- just ask my buddy fighting right now in Iraq)at the repub. convention to gain sympathy.
btw- did you see that 25% of Nader’s donations are coming from Republicans that have also contributed to Bush?

Dick Armey’s group is working to get Nader on the ballot in all potential swing states like Oregon. Nader has really set himself up as the fool- I really hope that he does not want this to be his legacy.

Two major presidencial primaries and the olympic trials this month. The real story isn’t that there’s increased chatter, but that the DHS has so far choosen NOT to increase the warning level. Seems like they’re trying harder to keep it out of the headlines than to put it in…
