  per Alan’s comments, that can be said of every constituent-serving politician (that is their job, after all) and/or every decent thoughtful individual who has grown and changed over time.

  Hey Alan- do you hold exactly the same position on every political and social issue that you held ten years ago? I welcome your debate on real issues and real differences, but not the pablum of propaganda. Blind xenophobia is not a political agenda, it is merely social dogma for suckers. Your blog certainly appears smarter than your statement here, so let’s get beyond the sound bites and debate the real issues- or is your boy dubya just a bit too chicken hawk to actually step up to the mike with a real thought?
