How awesome is San Francisco? Sometimes I really miss living there, especially when I see election results like this:
The people just don’t take any shit and take matters into their own hands. Sick of Bush and Cheney? Throw a proposition on the ballot to have them impeached! And then win with 59.4% of the vote. Of course, how that translates into practice is a different story.
Although now that Democrats will control both the House and the Senate — with SF “liberal with a capital L” Rep. Nancy Pelosi (as a CNN anchor called her just this morning) about to become House Majority Leader — maybe Prop. J is not too crazy a proposition after all.

as much as i despise bush, i don’t agree that he should be impeached. we have too many real problems for congress to focus on – impeaching a lame duck president (with a more despicable person second in command) shouldn’t rank up there.
impeachment is thrown around pretty lightly for some reason – it’s not a process that should be tossed around, except for the most egregious abuses of the position (getting a blow job not one of them… but that’s another story)
americans were stupid enough to put bush back in office two years ago, they should live with the consequences…
