For the second time in our relationship and the first time since we’ve lived in Saratoga Springs, Jen and I hosted a rockin’ Thanksgiving meal. We’re actually on a roll this year since we hosted Easter and are also hosting Christmas, for which my family is all coming to town. I’m psyched about that.
So Thursday, November 23, 2006 was, of course, Turkey Day this year (see? slowly but surely I’m catching up and will be blogging in a more timely fashion before you know it!). Jen’s parents, grandpa, aunt and uncle, and Hugh and Jami joined us for some delicious grubs, good wine, and great laughs. Jen rocked the delicious turkey, homemade gravy, and more; Jane contributed the fantastic homemade pies; Carolyn brought some side dishes; and Jami surprised us with her noodly family tradition dish.
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, and I’m incredibly thankful for my amazing wife, our great family, and our kick-ass friends.
