Yesterday I ran my 3rd marathon: San Francisco. It was pretty awesome
and really challenging. I got to run around the entire city, including
across the Golden Gate Bridge and back. The most rewarding part of any
marathon is seeing your wife, family, and friends cheering you on at
the finish. I get choked up every time. I love you guys.
Oh yeah, and I ran it in 3:20:07, placing 236th out of 5,036 overall,
which put me in the top 4.7%. My time was just 33 seconds off my
December PR in CIM, but that’s a faster course and I was top 15% then
with about 5,100 runners (795th overerall), so big improvement.
